Salary: AUD 192,845 – 209,939 Annual Gross

About the role
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Marketing Consultant to join our team as a Trusted Advisor. In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner to our clients, offering expert guidance, actionable insights, and hands-on support to help them achieve their business goals through impactful digital marketing strategies. You will go beyond tactical execution, building long-term relationships and becoming an extension of their marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Marketing Partnerships
    Build strong, long-term relationships with clients, acting as a strategic partner. Understand their business needs, market dynamics, and goals to develop tailored digital marketing solutions.
  • Business & Marketing Alignment
    Bridge the gap between client business objectives and digital marketing strategies. Develop marketing plans that drive revenue growth, enhance brand awareness, and improve customer engagement.
  • Comprehensive Digital Marketing Expertise
    Provide deep expertise across digital channels including SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, email marketing, display advertising, and more.
  • Data-Driven Insights & Optimization
    Use analytics and performance data to track campaign success, identify areas for improvement, and optimize strategies for better ROI.
  • Technology & Platform Selection
    Advise clients on marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and other technologies to improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Innovation & Trend Forecasting
    Stay ahead of digital marketing trends and emerging technologies. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client campaigns using innovative tools and strategies.
  • Client Success & Communication
    Ensure exceptional client experiences through proactive communication, clear reporting, and strategic recommendations. Maintain transparency and build trust.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in digital marketing consulting or strategic marketing roles
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing long-term client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and performance metrics.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate business objectives into actionable marketing strategies.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in B2B marketing, especially in tech or professional services
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Certifications in Google Ads, HubSpot, or other relevant platforms.
  • Experience with customer journey mapping and persona development.
  • Knowledge of UX principles and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
Educational Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (mandatory).
  • Master's degree or MBA (preferred).
  • Relevant certifications in digital marketing, analytics, or CRM platforms (nice to have).
Location & Travel Requirements
  • Based in Melbourne or Sydney with flexibility for remote work.
  • Occasional travel may be required for client meetings and workshops.
