Overview

This position is a permanent full-time role in the Maintenance team, based from Moruya and required to work at other depots and various locations across the Shire. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing maintenance activities (planned and reactive) of transport (road, bridge, pathway, drainage, marine) assets including the Kings Hwy (under RMCC contract), while ensuring crew compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
  • Manage maintenance activities (planned and reactive) of transport assets including road, bridge, pathway, drainage, marine, and the Kings Hwy under RMCC contract.
  • Ensure activities are undertaken in a safe, efficient and sustainable manner with the customer focus in mind.
  • Manage and supervise staff in compliance with workplace health and safety legislation and Council's Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Respond to out-of-hours issues and support out-of-hours activities as part of a rotating roster.
Salary and application

The starting salary for this position is $3,640.74 per fortnight plus 12% superannuation.
