About the Role :

Tradewind is seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join a warm and welcoming centre in Whitfield, Victoria. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Cert III qualified educator passionate about supporting young learners and working alongside a committed team of educators and Early Years professionals.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an Early Childhood Educator, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and education in a supportive environment.

This part-time role offers 16 hours per week, with potential for additional hours at nearby centres if desired. A relocation incentive of up to $9,000 may also be available to support your move.

Key duties :

  • Work as part of a team to ensure high-quality care and educational experiences for children
  • Support all operations in the room, including educational programming, routines, and compliance
  • Foster collaboration to enhance and embed best practices
  • Build strong, inclusive relationships with children to support their development
  • Establish supportive partnerships with families for clear communication and mutual understanding
  • Contribute to ongoing quality improvements aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Promote inclusivity and provide tailored support for children with diverse needs

Skills & Experience :

  • Experience working with young children in an Early Childhood setting or Kindergarten
  • Ability to build respectful relationships with children and support individual needs
  • Familiarity with the National and Victorian Early Years Learning Frameworks
  • Effective communication skills with parents, staff, and professionals
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and improvement

Requirements :

  • Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or similar ACECQA-approved qualification)
  • Experience in a similar role within an Early Childhood Centre
  • Ability to model positive behaviors with children
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certifications
  • Current Mandatory Reporting for Early Years
  • Valid Working with Children's Check
  • Valid Criminal Records Check
  • Right to work in Australia
