Be part of the team transforming global travel experiences. Luxury Escapes is one of the world's fastest-growing travel websites, with over 8 million members. We are growing rapidly and seeking an iOS Engineer to join our mobile team. The app is built in Swift and SwiftUI, focusing on a best-in-class native experience for our customers. Our mobile app accounts for 25% of our sales, and we are iterating rapidly to grow that number.

Our mobile team also owns a Backend for the Frontend service to optimize API responses for mobile. Some mobile developers have learned and contribute to this service.

Our Sydney office is on Kent Street, a short walk from Wynyard station and close to cafes in Barangaroo.

About The Team

Our cross-functional teams craft elegant code, build mobile apps, and drive architecture across Technology. The structure is flat with a lean process, focusing on MVP, iteration, and the "build, measure, learn" mindset and continuous improvement. Employee experience is valued, with weekly events, monthly recognition programs, and professional development opportunities.

About The Role

The biggest challenge is to go beyond parity with our website and provide a unique mobile browsing experience. The Lux Moments feature on our home screen is one example. We are also building features where users save travel preferences to customise the home screen. In the future, we aim to leverage mobile to enhance the in-stay experience with features like keyless check-in and a digital concierge.
