Job Title: General Practitioner – Bribie Island, Queensland.

Job Type: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time.

Practice Information:
This small general medical practice is located within a busy shopping precinct on Bribie Island. It opened in 2022 to support increased patient demand for an existing practice (also located on the island). Due to some supervision changes, the clinic had a temporary closure in 2024, which also presented an opportunity for other clinic improvements to be implemented. The practice has now reopened (in April) and is seeking General Practitioners. Mixed Billing Practice. The practice opening hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm, and you'll have flexibility on the hours you want to suit your work-life balance.

Position Description:
VR GP or an IMG GP to fill an additional room within the practice and help meet the excessive patient demand in the region. Variety of patient demographics and medical conditions that might present. Ideally FTE capacity but flexible for somebody that only wants PT hours - flexibility on days can be accommodated.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • VR General Practitioner OR

  • Current or eligible for AHPRA registration with Level 3 supervision or above

  • The local demographics would ideally suit a strong focus on chronic disease management and health prevention

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills to work within a small but vibrant team environment

After Hours Requirements: No

Salary Information:
65% of billings.
