About Us:
Landscape Australia Construction (LAC) are an industry leader in the provision of Landscape Construction, Maintenance and Residential service offerings in Western Australia. We currently employ a dynamic team of experienced landscape professionals, who are committed to our positive culture based around quality, passion, accountability, and care.
About the Role:
As our Safety Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the site teams with safety systems, compliance, and day-to-day WHS responsibilities.
This is a practical, hands-on role ideal for someone looking to break into or continue their safety career within the landscaping or construction space. You'll be reporting to our SQE Advisor and will be supported by experienced operations staff while gaining practical exposure to a variety of commercial landscaping projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and workers to promote safety awareness
- Provide advice and support on WHS procedures and best practices
- Assist with daily safety checks, site inspections, and reporting
- Support toolbox talks and promote safety awareness on-site
- Help manage documentation, incident follow-up, and compliance tasks
- Be a visible and approachable presence across job sites
- Learn and apply WHS practices in a practical environment
What We're Looking For:
- Prior site-based experience (landscaping, civil, construction, etc.) is an advantage
- Experience using digital safety platforms (advantage but not required)
- Cert IV in Work Health & Safety (or similar bachelor's degree)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the WHS field
- Driver's licence and full Australian work rights
