Bungree Aboriginal Association is an Aboriginal community-based organisation providing a wide range of services to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Located on the Central Coast, Bungree is a not-for-profit organisation delivering programs and services across the Central Coast, parts of Newcastle, and the Upper Hunter in New South Wales.

The Role:

We are seeking reliable support workers to work casually in the Central Coast and Upper Hunter regions. Shifts are available immediately for suitably qualified applicants.

As a Bungree Support Worker, you will deliver quality care tailored to the individual needs of our clients. Your role involves embodying our values to promote inclusion, choice, and control in all aspects of our services. You will:

  • Provide high-quality care
  • Engage with clients respectfully and with dignity
  • Complete mandatory documentation and reporting

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or a similar qualification
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working With Children Check
  • National Police Check (willing to obtain)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates (willing to obtain)
  • Driver's license
  • Vaccinations: Up-to-date FLU and at least 2 COVID-19 vaccinations. If unable to get the flu shot for medical reasons, please provide evidence.
