First Connections Childcare Centre is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Childcare Trainee. This full-time position, located in Schofields, SYDNEY offers a unique opportunity for someone passionate about childcare and education. The ideal candidate for this role would be someone who is a recent school leaver looking to transition into the childcare sector. You would be a great team player and be hands on and display a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
  • Collaborate with experienced educators to plan and implement age-appropriate activities.
  • Support children's learning and development through play-based experiences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in childcare spaces.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress and needs.

Requirements :

Must be over 18 years of age.Possess a valid NSW Working with Children Check.Genuine interest in working with children and promoting their well-being.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively within a team environment.Willingness to undertake on-the-job training and attain a Certificate III in Children's Services.
