The Role

You will join an energetic and passionate team of Food and Beverage Attendants who are the face of exceptional Events at Grand Hyatt Melbourne. As part of our Event Service team, you will provide memorable event experiences to all our guests.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet guests arriving and departing functions/meetings
  • Set up function and meeting rooms, adhering to safe manual handling practices
  • Provide personalized service on a large scale
  • Work effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
  • Exhibit exceptional interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
  • Deliver superior customer service, working autonomously and collaboratively
  • Create a positive first impression
  • Work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and public holidays

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Previous Food & Beverage experience preferred but not required
  • Must have an unrestricted working Visa for Australia (no student visas)
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol certification for Victoria
  • Physical stamina to lift moderate weights
