• The role reports to the 'General Manager' and is supported by a Regional Catering Manager

How you will make an impact as aChef

You will be responsible for supervising and delivering premium meal services, including menu planning, catering, infrastructure management, ordering, quality service delivery, and service improvement.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Manage compliance related to food safety, WHS, and quality
• Passion for providing high-quality nutritious meals
• Leading and motivating the team, including recruitment and training
• Stock control and ordering
• Resident dietary management
• Kitchen and food cost management
• Production and delivery of high-quality meals
• Service excellence in all dining aspects
• Communicating with residents and families, documenting residents' needs if required
• Providing management and guidance to kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

What you will bring to the role

• Experience in Aged Care or high-volume commercial catering
• Understanding of food cost management
• Proactive approach to continuous improvement
• Chef qualifications and understanding of special dietary needs
• Strong personal presentation and grooming skills
• Knowledge of Food Safety legislation
