  • Heavy Diesel Mechanics with 3+ years of relevant post-trade experience.
  • Holders of Recognized Australian Trade Certificates - Certificate 3 in Mobile Plant Technology AUR31220 or equivalent.
  • Experienced with OEMs like Hitachi, Komatsu, Liebherr, CAT, Cummins, Detroit Diesel.
  • Committed to safety, quality, and best practices.

What you need :

  • 3+ years of relevant experience post-trade.
  • Australian Trade Certificate.
  • Australian C class driver's license.
  • Strong understanding of Pneumatics and Hydraulics.

Job description :

  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, vehicles, equipment, and control devices.
  • Identify unserviceable parts and components that can be reused without risk of failure.
  • Keep equipment clean, lubricated, and maintained.
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance according to manufacturers' specifications.
  • Service and repair engines, transmissions, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems in heavy equipment.
  • Use computers for service and parts information, and download data from on-board computers.
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, dump trucks, scrapers, graders, pipe layers, rollers, paving machines, underground equipment, skid steer loaders, backhoes, compactors, forklifts, and trucks.
  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines used in power generation and light vehicles.
  • Detect faults using gauges, instruments, and laptops to check electrical and electronic circuitry, fuel systems, hydraulics, and engine performance.
