Female Home Care Worker with Car - Personal Care & Companionship

Help at Home by Montefiore is a not-for-profit organisation based in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, and we are committed to delivering the best possible care, by empowering individuals to live with choice, dignity and wellbeing.

Due to an increase in clients, we are looking for an experienced female* personal care worker who is available to manage a group of clients based in and around the Eastern Suburbs.

Daily responsibilities may include depending on skill and experience:

  • Personal care (Shower assist, feeding, toileting)
  • Domestic assistance
  • Meal preparation
  • Social support and companionship
  • Chaperone to appointments
  • Companionship
  • 24 Hour shifts

Requirements for this role:

  • Must drive and have own vehicle
  • Available during the week and on weekends
  • High level verbal communication skills
  • Impeccable presentation at all times

Desirable but not essential:

  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar
  • 6 months experience working in a personal care worker capacity.
