Zurich is on an exciting journey to become Australia's leading digital insurer—and we're looking for a Broker Relationship Leader to help us get there. Reporting to the State Manager Victoria, this role is pivotal in shaping strategic trading relationships with a designated panel of top-tier brokers.

You'll be the face of Zurich to our broker partners, driving engagement across all lines of business and fostering multi-tiered relationships. With a strong focus on collaboration, performance culture, and customer-centricity, you'll help unlock growth opportunities and bring the best of Zurich to market.

You will also be responsible for the following:

  • Manage a panel of brokers and develop a deep understanding of their business to identify strategic and transactional opportunities.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and risk engineering to deliver Zurich's value proposition across all segments.
  • Drive communication, transparency, and accountability across broker relationships and internal teams.
  • Analyse competitor intelligence and develop plans to gain market advantage.
  • Design and embed multi-tiered relationship infrastructure across relevant lines and segments.
  • Represent Zurich at industry events and ensure consistent messaging in partnership with marketing and leadership.

You're a commercially astute relationship builder with a deep understanding of the general insurance landscape. You thrive in dynamic environments, adapt quickly to change, and bring a collaborative mindset to everything you do.

In order to be successful, you will have the following:
  • 5–7 years of industry experience in a broker-facing or strategic sales role.
  • ANZIIF CIP membership or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of underwriting and claims processes.
  • Proven ability to develop long-term business relationships and strategic plans.
  • Experience in relationship/strategic selling, ideally within insurance.
  • Operational management experience and a passion for driving business growth.
