Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer PER: Avionics

Airnorth is recruiting for a Perth based Licenced Avionics (B2) Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our WA Engineering Team in troubleshooting, conducting routine and non-routine maintenance, and performing repairs on various aircraft systems and components in accordance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
Responsibilities- Perform and certify for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of aircraft as directed.
- Supervise and certify for aircraft work carried out by unlicensed AMEs and apprentices who are assigned to work under supervision.
- Travel to other locations as required for AOG situations.
- Use various systems across the CASA and company networks and obtain and hold an ASIC and an Airside Drivers Licence as required.
- CASA licence (type not necessarily required).
- Strong understanding of Civil Aviation Safety Regulations applicable to Certificate of Approvals.
- Time management skills to work under pressure, with high levels of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and the ability to contribute proactively within a small team.
- Ability to obtain and hold an ASIC as well as an Airside Drivers Licence. Human Factors training and a current passport are essential.
- Solid experience in aircraft maintenance is desirable, as is experience on Embraer aircraft and/or working at Perth Airport.
- Type training is offered to the successful candidate (if required).
