Overview

Are you an experienced Azure Cloud Security Engineer with a strong background in Terraform and Landing Zones? We're recruiting for a 4-month contract role with a leading Sydney-based property business that's investing heavily in its cloud security posture and infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement secure Azure Landing Zones aligned with Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework.
  • Define and enforce security controls, policies, and guardrails across Azure environments.
  • Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform - must have
  • Collaborate with architecture, operations, and development teams to ensure security best practices are embedded across CI/CD pipelines.
  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend cloud-native security solutions.
  • Support incident response and assist in remediating vulnerabilities in cloud infrastructure.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Cloud Security Engineer or Cloud Platform Engineer with a focus on Azure.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
  • Experience designing and deploying Azure Landing Zones.
  • Familiarity with Azure Policy, Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud, and RBAC.
  • Understanding of cloud security frameworks and best practices (e.g., CIS Benchmarks, Zero Trust).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Bonus Points For
  • Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-500, AZ-104, AZ-305).
  • Experience in the property or real estate sector.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and tooling.
