About the role

If you're passionate about making an impact to our members and patients, we have an exciting opening for a Patient Experience Consultant to work across our Health Services appointment centre based at Pirie Street.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a first point of contact for all customer enquiries in a professional manner
  • Schedule and manage appointments across dental and optical services
  • Process transaction payments and basic billing accurately and efficiently
  • Resolve customer concerns and complaints with empathy and a solutions-focused approach
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure patient confidentiality at all times
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient journeys

About you

If you're experienced in customer service and administration with a passion for health then we want to hear from you

  • Previous experience in a call centre or customer service role in a healthcare setting
  • Comfortable working with appointments and billing systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage high call volumes and remain calm under pressure
  • Strong problem solving skills and high attention to detail
  • Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement

You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident at the time of submitting your application and hold a current satisfactory National Police Clearance (within 12 months) and Working with Childrens Check or be willing to obtain prior to commencement.
