Eligibility

To be eligible for a graduate position you must:

  • Be an Australian Citizen at time of commencement
  • Have completed a minimum of a three-year undergraduate degree within the last 5 years (completed between 1 January 2021 and 31 December 2025)
  • Have any relevant overseas qualification recognised by National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition (NOOSR)
  • Be able to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance
Notes

A merit pool may be established and used to fill future vacancies within 18 months from the date the vacancy was first advertised in the Gazette. The department does currently offer flexible work opportunities for many roles. Please reach out to the contact officer to discuss this further.
