Female Aged Care Support Worker - Townsville

We are currently seeking motivated, caring, and committed individuals as Aged Support Workers. Participants request Female only workers who live in and around the Townsville area to provide in-home personal care and domestic assistance. You will provide delivery of support services in the community to people living in their own homes.

At Southern Cross, we aim to ensure our behaviours reflect our core values which include:

Duties include:

  1. Domestic assistance - General housework including but not limited to dusting, ironing, mopping, cleaning bathrooms & kitchens, laundry.
  2. Personal care assistance - Showering, toileting, grooming, and dressing.
  3. Reporting and documentation.

You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and will receive the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can.

Job Type: Contractor

What you need:

  1. Current references.
  2. Current driver's license, your own car with proof of registration.
  3. NDIS workers screening check or willing to obtain (mandatory).
  4. First Aid certificate or willing to obtain (mandatory).
  5. Working with Children Check or willing to obtain (Paid, mandatory).
  6. Passionate about caring and committed to client wellbeing.

Days/Hours:

There are a variety of short (2-3 hour) shifts available (Mon-Fri). Please indicate your availability during your application. Having a car and current license is essential to travel to and from homes in the community.
