Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate a mechanical project design team to deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
• Oversee the detailed design and procurement of mechanical systems from concept to commissioning.
• Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives.
• Prepare designs that comply with engineering specifications, statutory, and safety requirements.
• Provide tender support, estimates, and progress reports to achieve project profitability.
• Conduct factory inspections, testing, and commissioning of installed equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement in internal systems and processes.
• Assist in recruiting and mentoring design staff, contributing to team growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate a mechanical project design team to deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
• Oversee the detailed design and procurement of mechanical systems from concept to commissioning.
• Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives.
• Prepare designs that comply with engineering specifications, statutory, and safety requirements.

Experience:

• 5 - 10 years power generation, industrial, heavy industry experience
• Well rounded background in structural steel, piping, purchasing, read design documents, project management
• Lead a mechanical project design team including other engineers and draftspersons to carry out projects
• Detailed design of mechanical systems and subsystems
• Preparation of design and detailed output documents from specifications, concepts, no specifications on-site surveys, sketches transmitting, receiving information for technical interfaces
• Estimation and tendering experience
• CPEng or working towards
• Leadership, mentor junior engineers, problem solving ability

What We're Looking For:

• Qualifications:Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical).
• Experience:Demonstrated expertise in mechanical engineering within an EPC environment.
• 7+ Years experience for the Senior role, less we can consider you for other roles.
• Skills:Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
• Technical Proficiency:Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, Excel, Word, and project management software.
• Attributes:Initiative, accountability, and a results-driven mindset.
• Essential:Driver's licence and willingness to travel interstate as needed.
