Overview

NHS Scotland is recruiting a CTAC & Vaccination Staff Nurse to work within the community treatment and care team and vaccination team in Helensburgh. The post is part of the extended Primary Care team and involves delivering high quality, person-centred care in collaboration with GP Practices, Community Nursing teams and other AHPs. The post holder will deliver nursing care in accordance with the GP contract terms and will require excellent time management, flexibility and a commitment to holistic care for a wide range of patients.

Applicants should be a nurse registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and have the ability to work in a community setting as part of a multi-professional team. Training will be provided in areas such as wound care, phlebotomy, ear irrigation, cervical cytology, vaccinations and related diagnostics where needed.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver nursing care in a community setting in line with the GP contract terms.
  • Work as part of the extended Primary Care team and collaborate with GP Practices, Community Nursing teams and other allied health professionals.
  • Provide holistic patient care and support across a wide range of clinical needs.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management, adaptability and continuing professional development.
Qualifications
  • NMC registered nurse.
  • Experience in a community setting and ability to work within a multi-professional team.
  • Desirable experience in wound care, phlebotomy, ear irrigation, cervical cytology, vaccinations and related diagnostics; training will be provided as needed.
