
Propulsion Engineer

As an Aerospace Propulsion specialist, you ensure our airpower is properly serviced and ready to defend anytime, anywhere. You'll service, test and repair all parts of all our engines to meet first-class operational standards. By bringing your advanced skill set to the flight line, you ensure the safety and efficiency of our Airmen, in the air and on the ground.
Primary Responsibilities- Detect and remove defective engine components.
- Diagnose engine issues, including oil, electrical and engine airflow systems.
- Diagnose and recommend appropriate maintenance actions.
- Supervise repair and test-run procedures.
- Up to 30 days of vacation with pay each year

- Must have a high school diploma, GED with 15 college credits or GED
- Knowledge of mechanical, hydromechanical, electrical and hydraulic principles
- Completion of appropriate aerospace propulsion maintenance courses for specialty
- Completion of a current National Agency Check, Local Agency Checks and Credit
- Completion of 8.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 39
