Albury Wodonga Health invites applications for the Post Graduate Certificate - Critical Care Nursing. This regional opportunity allows you to expand clinical knowledge and nursing skills through our partnership with Federation University of Melbourne, with rotations through Emergency Departments and the Intensive Care Unit. The ICU/Critical Care Unit serves North East Victoria and Southern NSW; combined ED presentations are substantial. The unit comprises ICU, HDU and CCU beds and supports staff development and learning.
Role detailsPosition: Post Graduate Certificate - Critical Care Nursing
Locations: Albury and Wodonga Intensive Care Unit
Employment type: Permanent Part-Time & Full-Time; multiple positions
Responsibilities- Engage in the 2026 Post-Graduate Certificate - Specialty Critical Care Nursing program and participate in rotations through ED and ICU.
- Deliver patient-focused care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and contribute to a high-performing clinical team.
- Support learning and professional development through participation in education and quality improvement initiatives.
- Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
- Minimum 2 years post-registration experience in Emergency or Critical Care Nursing
- Successful completion of TSP or similar is highly desirable
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-focused care
- Ability to provide leadership in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development
Salary and conditions of employment will be in accordance with the relevant state nursing awards. AWH does not sponsor visas.
