Overview

We're seeking a passionate, driven and collaborative engineer to help us redefine what customers expect from a bank through innovative technology.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and deploy high quality software solutions and system design.
  • Contribute to a culture of quality, excellence and openness.
  • Collaborate across the full software development lifecycle with a focus on user experience, CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure cloud pipelines, logging and monitoring.
  • Coach and mentor junior engineers, share knowledge to uplift software development practices.
  • Perform code quality control through peer programming, code review and automated pipeline release management.
Qualifications & Tech Skills
  • Strong hands-on coding ability in Python.
  • In-depth understanding of Python stacks, ecosystems, frameworks and tools such as NumPy, Pandas, and parallelisation.
  • Familiarity with front end technologies.
  • Solid understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Automated quality engineering and testing (unit testing, regression testing).
  • Proficiency and attention to detail with application security.
  • Experience with Observability tools is highly regarded.
  • Experience or knowledge of financial markets is favourable.
