Customer Service Officer – Full Time – Sydney

BGIS is seeking a professional and customer-focused Customer Service Officer to join our team in Sydney. This full-time role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering outstanding service. Due to security requirements, Australian citizenship is essential.

About the Role

As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the first point of contact for incoming requests, providing timely and effective support to our clients and field teams. You'll work within our 24/7 operations centre, ensuring all service calls are logged, prioritised, and followed through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming service requests via phone, email, and internal systems
  • Accurately log and assign jobs to appropriate technicians or service providers
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding work orders to ensure timely resolution
  • Provide status updates and maintain clear communication with stakeholders
  • Support the wider operations team with administrative tasks as needed

About You

  • Previous experience in a customer service or call centre environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks under pressure
  • Confident using computer systems and multi-tasking between platforms
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Australian citizenship is required due to security clearance requirements
