As an expert, you will bring a deep technical mastery of processes and equipment. This expertise enables you to lead the planning, process development, and implementation of Planned Maintenance Elements in a Continuous Improvement manufacturing environment. You will manage this through teams consisting of various technical and non-technical personnel, key support contractors, and operations personnel.
How You Will Contribute
You will:
- Partner & Enable the Line Leader(s) to Deliver SQCDSM Targets - Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability & Morale for the Lines, Ensuring Process Stability; Participate in DMS - Daily Management Systems Meetings at the Shift and Line Level.
- Own Technology and Process Centerline Settings for Equipment and Own Deep Technical Mastery of the Process and Equipment; Own PM - Progressive Maintenance Systems and Work Processes and PM Key Performance Indicators for the Line/S Along with Centerline Management Systems; Own R&M - Repairs & Maintenance Budget of the Line.
- Develop, Own, and Execute Preventive and Time-Based Maintenance Systems and Plans for the Line/S and Build Capability of the Team to Execute Themselves; Build Technical and Maintenance Skills of Technicians Working in Shifts So They Can Operate and Maintain Equipment Independently; Be Part of PM Pillar, Own All PM Systems and Work Processes at the Line Level and Lead Some at the Department Level.
- Partner with Asset and Reliability Team for System Improvement and Execution of Special Maintenance Tasks; Be Responsible for Change Management on the Line/S, Localization of Spares, and Proper Breakdown Analysis and R&M Cost Reduction for the Line/S; Represent Department/Line as Site Technology Owner in Regional and Global Technology Forums.
- Assist in VSU for New Initiatives and Enable VSU Team; Help Line Leader in Internal and External Benchmarking and Reapplication; Be Subject Matter Expert on One of the Component Categories and Trainer of PM Related Subjects for the Plant.

- Advanced Knowledge (Including AM Autonomous Maintenance Step 4 Systems & Progressive Maintenance Step 3) & Skill to Maintain Dedicated Equipment at Basic Conditions Independently, Including Execution of AM & PM Standards on Dedicated Equipment and TPM Phase 3 & 4 Tools Problem-Solving Tools.
- Capability to Lead Role for the Line, Qualify and Coach Next-Level SWP Owners, and Drive Common Opportunity Areas Across the Line in PDCA Approach.
- Capability to Work as Line Leader, Developing and Aligning Goal/Master Plan for the Line, Deploying and Managing IDP for Members, Coaching Team Members on Performance Management and Career Development.

Two Day Fitter Vacancies Are Available, Predominantly Supporting Chocolate Making and Bindler Departments; However, You May Be Called to Support Other Areas Occasionally.
This Is a Day Shift Position Working Monday to Friday on 8-Hour Shifts and Is Based at Iconic Cadbury Factory in Claremont Tasmania.
Successful Candidate Will Be Qualified Fitter and Turner with Minimum Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade).
