Overview

The client, a software solutions technology provider, is seeking an experienced Linux Engineer with Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration experience in large-scale environments for a permanent role near the Perth CBD.

Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced administration, support and troubleshooting
  • Install, configure and upgrade infrastructure
  • Consult with the client/project team to provide technical expertise
  • Monitor system performance and reliability
  • Support the team through technical deployments and system migrations
Key experience
  • Proven enterprise scale experience with administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers is required
  • Knowledge of Windows/VMware environments would be advantageous
  • Experience working with network infrastructure environments (switching, routing)
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework / Service Management tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement ability
  • Relevant certifications / education would be highly regarded
Desirable Experience
  • Experience with AWS, Nutanix, VMware, Informix, Pronto AND/OR Oracle would be advantageous (but not mandatory)
