Responsibilities
  • Provide technical input in the mechanical field.
  • Provide mechanical data for asset management purposes.
  • Provide beneficial and cost-efficient services related to refurbishment, repair and maintenance of water supply and sewerage and associated assets as per Councils plans and specifications.
  • Test and commission new installations of mechanical equipment.
  • Assist in the preparation of maintenance or new works contracts for mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic works.
  • Assist in updating the asset database for all maintenance, replacement and refurbishment of water and sewer mechanical and electrical equipment.
What Youll Bring

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Trade Certificate in Mechanical Fitting and Machining
  • Demonstrated work experience in the trade, including machining and troubleshooting/diagnosis for plant maintenance
  • Basic computer skills
  • MR Drivers licence
We Would Also Love You To Have
  • Completed training in fluoride operations
  • Chlorine gas-handling qualifications
  • An MR (Medium Rigid) driver licence
