This executive leadership role presents a unique opportunity to lead TASCORP's Financial Markets and Client Services Group, contributing directly to the organisation's strategic goals and representing it at the highest levels.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all funding, markets, and client-related activity across the organisation.
  • Manage access to capital markets to ensure timely, cost-effective funding for government clients.
  • Represent TASCORP on external panels, committees, and in stakeholder engagements.
  • Drive capability development across the markets team and embed a culture of performance and wellbeing.
  • Deliver insights and leadership on risk management, balance sheet strategy, and treasury systems improvements.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Deep understanding of debt capital markets and the capacity to balance the current and future state in assessing and managing risk.
  • Maintaining access to domestic and international capital markets to ensure funds are raised to finance client borrowing requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Providing strategic ideas, critical thinking and wide-ranging advice based on experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a front office business unit by engaging in professional conduct, providing leadership, coordinating activities and a focus on the professional development of the team.
  • Possession of excellent analytical, operational, and business skills, coupled with risk management best practices, results in the practical functionality of the front office area.
  • High degree of attention to detail and initiative to analyse issues accurately and in detail.
  • Quality-focused and persistent in achieving desired outcomes for all stakeholders, both internally and externally;
  • The ability to work effectively under the pressure of looming deadlines;
  • The ability to implement process refinements to improve efficiencies;
  • Sound knowledge of treasury management systems functionality and structure.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, commerce, or equivalent executive-level experience (10+ years in a similar environment).
