The opportunity

This is an excellent opening for an experienced senior Audit professional who is ready to take the next step in their career.

This position involves supervising and delivering audit engagements and serves as a primary point of contact and control throughout the audit process.

The role

Manage multiple audit assignments simultaneously

Plan and organise audit engagements

Stay current with changes to audit standards and implement updated procedures

Complete and review audits to a high professional standard

Identify audit, litigation, and ethical risks in a dynamic regulatory environment

Support team performance and collaboration

Act as a key client liaison, fostering and maintaining strong client relationships

About you

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria :

minimum 3 years' external audit experience in a professional services firm

CA qualification completed or near completion preferred

strong technical and professional audit skills with the ability to apply audit methodology effectively

thorough understanding of audit planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, and methodology

solid knowledge of Australian financial reporting requirements including Accounting Standards, Corporations Act, and UIG interpretations

proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, APS, and audit software (Caseware preferred)

excellent communication and interpersonal skills

strong time management and productivity skills
