Parcel Driver

Border Express currently has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced and motivated MR Parcel Delivery Driver to join the team at our Mackay Branch.

This position plays an integral part in the safe, efficient and effective movement of freight to achieve the delivery promise that we have made to our customers.

Success in this position is measured when DIFOT targets are met, a safe workplace is actively demonstrated and paperwork accuracy targets are met. This is a front-line position, which requires a high level of communication, professionalism, presentation and customer service to be applied consistently every day.

Duties:

Loading/unloading of truck - Strapping, gates, curtains etc

PDA scanning compliance

Fatigue Management

Vehicle compliance

Skills and Experience:

Minimum 2 years' experience in the transport industry.

Excellent driver history report.

Great local knowledge of Mackay and surrounding areas.

Ability to work unsupervised.

Experience in multi-drops is essential.
