Overview

St Michael's Grammar School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our vibrant Early Learning Centre team. This is a wonderful opportunity to join St Michael's and be part of a nurturing and dynamic environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and grow. We are looking for an innovative and creative Early Childhood Teacher who will deliver effective teaching, learning and caring programs in our Early Learning Centre.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver effective teaching, learning and caring programs in the Early Learning Centre.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Be a qualified Early Childhood Teacher with a suitable tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Teaching.
  • Demonstrate a genuine respect for and interest in young children.
  • Experience in the pedagogy of the Reggio Emilia Educational Project.
  • High level communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and interact with both adults and students.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic, creative and collaborative team.
  • Understanding and commitment to child safety and wellbeing, aligned with the School's policies and principles.
  • Current certifications in Anaphylaxis, First Aid, CPR, and Asthma.
  • Current VIT registration.
