Overview

Wills and Estates Lawyer (2-3 years PAE) – Accredited Specialist Mentoring – Full time/Part time

Join City Pacific Lawyers for an opportunity to work autonomously on complex, high-quality Wills & Estates matters with potential to expand into other practice areas. You will work closely with an Accredited Specialist Principal Lawyer in a friendly, supportive environment, with long-term growth prospects and mentoring.

Responsibilities
  • Be mentored by an accredited Wills and Estates Specialist.
  • Work in a friendly and supportive team.
  • Deliver high-quality Wills and Estates work and related matters.
  • Engage with clients and build lasting partnerships; participate in networking and business development activities as appropriate.
The Ideal Candidate
  • At least 2-3 years PAE as a Lawyer with strong experience in Wills and Estates matters. Applicants with more experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in wills & estates litigation, drafting wills, powers of attorney, claims against deceased estates, guardianship, personal and business succession planning, trusts, probate, grants of representation and superannuation issues and administration of deceased estates is well regarded, but not essential.
  • Experience in other practice areas such as property law and commercial law is a bonus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Experience with LEAP software and MS Office preferred; general IT skills.
  • Long-term commitment and willingness to build lasting client relationships.
  • Business acumen and ability to develop relationships with related professionals and referral partners.
