About Our Client

Our client is a highly-respected organisation operating within the OEM industry, providing essential parts and services across all Australian states and territories. Known for its focus on quality and innovation, the company values technical expertise and offers a supportive environment for growth. This role will be 5-days on-site (Mulgrave) with flexibility offered in start and finish times.

Job Description
  • Lead and mentor a team of three.
  • Oversee tax and finance compliance processes, including the preparation and lodgement of returns.
  • Proactively take on internal finance projects to streamline processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian tax laws and regulations, including GST, income tax, and FBT.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide guidance and assurance on finance matters.
  • Manage relationships with external tax advisors and regulatory bodies.
  • Prepare, review, and present finance related reports for senior management.
The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Manager & Tax Manager will be able to demonstrate:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accreditation such as CPA or CA.
  • Proven expertise in Australian tax regulations and compliance.
  • Ability to lead and develop a team of 3.
  • Excellent communication and emotional intelligence.
  • Oracle systems experience would be highly regarded.
