About the Opportunity

Due to growth of our business, we have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Support Representative – Construction Equipment to join our Mackay team supporting our growing customer base in the Bowen Basin as well as on the coast.

As a key member of the team, your responsibilities will include :

  1. Provide holistic OEM customer and technical support for our valued customers
  2. Manage an existing network of customers and source new customers to grow our business
  3. Promoting parts and service sales solutions to achieve company budgeted sales targets
  4. Work to a customer call cycle and actively build parts & service quotes tailored to customers' needs
  5. Reporting of activity, prospects, sales opportunities, and competitor activity
  6. Attendance at customer site meetings as required to resolve technical issues
  7. Provide fluent customer relationship management, and a positive customer experience

To be successful you will need :

  • Technical understanding of earth moving and construction equipment
  • Demonstrated success in a similar role
  • Be self-motivated and able to build long-term relationships
  • Excellent administration, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to travel as required within your region
  • Trade Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical discipline required
