2026 Graduate Program |Engineering and Planning at City of Moreton Bay. This program is designed to develop engineers and planners through a two-year rotation-based experience.

Base pay range: A$79,000.00/yr – A$99,000.00/yr. Location ranges include Strathpine, Caboolture and Narangba Depot. Commencement date: 28 January 2026. Employment type: Full-time. Structure: 2-year graduate program with rotations every 6 months; 9 day fortnight; hybrid, flexible working options including some work-from-home days.

• $79,563pa + 12% super (level 3 starting, progressing through to level 5 in annual increments)

Areas you could be working in

• Urban Planning – development applications, engineering assessments, master planning, placemaking
• Environment & Sustainability – biodiversity, climate action, land management, waste minimisation, green infrastructure
• Integrated Infrastructure – parks, buildings, active transport, waterways, open spaces, road safety
• Project Delivery – constructing key community infrastructure
• Managing Assets – maintaining facilities, parks, roads, drainage

What we are looking for

• You will be a recent graduate or on schedule to graduate by February 2026 and seeking opportunities in Engineering or Planning
• Engineering graduates could have a degree in civil, coastal, drainage, mechanical, environmental, structural, electrical, project management, or mechatronics
• Planning graduates could focus on town planning, urban design, urban development, architecture, or transport planning
• A positive attitude, reliable, motivated team player, eager to work with professionals in the field
