Overview

Home Care Worker - Windsor - Experienced

Responsibilities
  • Provide home help services to aged care clients, including general housekeeping and making beds.
  • Clean, mop and vacuum floors; wash, fold and iron laundry.
  • Meal preparation and grocery shopping.
  • Provide social support and transport to lifestyle activities.
  • Support the family carer by giving them a break or opportunities to do other things.
What We're Looking For
  • Enjoy having variety in their day.
  • Can build positive relationships with clients and their families.
  • Care about helping aged community members live independently at home for longer.
  • Are comfortable working independently and finding solutions, knowing when to ask your manager for help.
In Addition, You Will Need
  • Open class Australian Driver's Licence and your own insured, roadworthy vehicle.
  • Experience of 3 months or more in a similar professional role, with experience in aged care.
The Role

In this role you will be providing our aged care clients with home help services as outlined above.

  • Award rate $40.93 per hour + Super + Paid KM's + phone allowance.
  • Casual roles with a view to permanent part time positions.

  • Paid CPR and First Aid courses.
