About the role

The Paediatric Occupational Therapist is responsible for quality community based occupational therapy services to preschool aged children within the North/West Melbourne metropolitan regions.

The position will be primarily based at Collingwood, Braybrook, North Melbourne or Niddrie but may be required to work from other sites.

• Provide occupational therapy services to ensure the provision of high-quality care for children with delays in their development
• Provide individual, group and home/outreach programs to children and their family following a family-centred model of practice
• Maintain and complete client files and statistical/program records in keeping with the organisation\'s policy
• Supervise the clinical education of occupational therapy students on placement at the service as appropriate

• Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent
• Registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)

All appointments are made subject to a satisfactory Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC), a Working With Children Check (WWCC), complete a Pre-Employment Declaration Form, evidence of legal rights to work in Australia, and evidence of vaccination.

Successful applicants will be required to provide evidence of immunisation assessment including Influenza within 12 weeks of commencement. This is in accordance with the Victorian Minister of Health Mandatory Vaccination Orders and legislated requirement for influenza vaccination.
