Job Description: Maintenance Technician – Hotel

Location: Sidney, OH

Pay: $18–19 / hour (depending on experience)

  • Bonuses:
  • $500 after 90 days
  • $1,000 after 180 days
  • $2,000 after 1 year
  • $3,000 after 2 years
  • Annual increases of $1,000 until capped at $5,000

Schedule: Full-time, half-day Saturdays, on-call as needed

Responsibilities:

  1. Indoor swimming pool maintenance, including water testing and equipment upkeep
  2. Electronic lock systems troubleshooting and repair
  3. PTAC unit maintenance and repair (hotel room A/C units)
  4. Servicing hotel ice machines, washers, and dryers
  5. Light plumbing: clogs, faucets, toilet repairs, etc.
  6. Light electrical work: outlets, switches, basic wiring
  7. General hotel facilities upkeep (guest rooms, public spaces)
  8. Responding promptly to guest and staff repair requests
  9. Keeping maintenance logs and following all safety procedures

Background:

  1. Experience in hotel maintenance preferred; experience in apartment or light commercial building maintenance is acceptable
  2. Pool chemical knowledge and repair experience required
  3. 1–3 years of maintenance experience is ideal
