This is a Permanent Full-Time role based in MELBOURNE.

What you'll do as an Account Manager:

The Account Manager is responsible for maximising revenue potential by meeting and exceeding revenue goals by providing innovative multi-platform advertising solutions to customers.

Our Melbourne team works in the office Tuesday – Friday and WFH on Mondays.

Responsibilities will include:

  1. Delivering exceptional customer service by tailoring presentations to client-specific needs and a pro-active approach to maximising revenue.
  2. Proactively prospecting for new clients and business opportunities.
  3. Consistently achieving and exceeding sales and market share targets within the allocated portfolio of Agency clients.
  4. Providing accurate and timely forecasts of achievement to budgets and goals.
  5. Pro-actively maximising revenue opportunities through identifying clients' marketing challenges and working with internal resources to provide strategic solutions.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external clients.
  7. Continually and pro-actively developing your knowledge and expertise of the Paramount and Network 10 ecosystem, including marketing expertise, business knowledge, researching tools and techniques, and the competitive environment.
  8. Managing an effective system for organising priorities and activities.
  9. Guiding and mentoring the eager Account Executive in your team.

What are we looking for in an Account Manager? What's important?

  1. Demonstrated experience in B2B selling including new business development and ability to show proven results.
  2. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, high levels of emotional intelligence.
  3. Experience determining client's needs and designing tailored solutions.
  4. Strong negotiation skills and ability to ensure value is maximised for both clients and the business.
  5. Excellent presentation skills, ability to engage and influence your target audience.
  6. Strong drive and ambition, capable of working autonomously and managing time effectively.
  7. Ability to foster strong relationships and hold a great reputation in market.
  8. A genuine interest in media sales and working in a high performing team.
  9. Great computer skills and the ability to learn new media sales systems quickly.

Preferred but not essential:

  1. Previous media or advertising industry experience would be great, but not essential.
  2. Exposure to IBMS and/or Salesforce systems would be an advantage.
