About the Role

Our Sefton Park store is looking for their next people-focused superstar that wants to step up into an Assistant Store Manager role on a 12-month fixed term contract This role is a maternity leave cover, but has a high likelihood of going permanent - either in this store, or another one close by If you're an Optical Dispenser, looking to step up and give leadership a go - then this is the role and team for you

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager in coaching the retail team and ensuring professional customer service is always provided
  • Assist the retail team with pre-testing and dispensing
  • Maintain store presentation and inventory control
  • Implement roster changes and drive sales through KPIs
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the store and be front of house support
  • Develop their optical knowledge as an essential part of the role
Skills and Experience

Positivity creates possibility As a Supervisor, you will lead & inspire by exhibiting the following:

  • Management Skills: Demonstrated leadership or training experience in a retail/customer service setting
  • Practical Abilities: Experience within the optical industry. Cert IV in Optical Dispensing is highly desired, but not essential
  • Teamwork: Contribute to a thriving store culture by inspiring and motivating your team
  • Proactivity: An efficient response to changing circumstances and delegating tasks effectively
