Summary: Are you a proactive and organised facilities professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant school community? Clairvaux MacKillop College is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to lead and support the day-to-day operations of our facilities team.

As our Facilities Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring our campus runs smoothly and safely. You'll work closely with the Business Manager, grounds team, and contractors to maintain high standards across our facilities.
In This Position You Will Be Responsible For- Coordinate daily tasks and schedules for the facilities and grounds team
- Supervise contractors and ensure compliance and risk assessments are completed in accordance with WHS standards, including SWMS and SOPs
- Assist the Business Manager and work in conjunction with the facilities team to schedule works across the college
- Manage maintenance schedules and oversee asset upkeep with minimal disruption to college life
- Contribute to the school's strategic and operational plans including 7 year compliance and facilities program by reviewing legislation, regulations, initiatives, and policies and providing recommendations
- Support procurement and budget administration for facilities-related projects
- Conduct safety inspections and contribute to risk assessments
- Collaborate with leadership to align facilities operations with strategic goals
- Promote a culture of teamwork, pride, and continuous improvement
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Knowledge and previous experience facility and grounds management
- Previous experience in project management to be able to ensure all WHS standards are met inline with SWMS and SOPs
- Work health and safety qualifications (preferred) and a working knowledge in this area would be highly regarded or ability and interest to undertake training in this area
- Experience in coordinating daily tasks and monitored workloads for a team
- Ability to interpretation of legislation, regulations, and developed procedures
- Having managed procurement activities, including budget oversight and administration
- Strategic focus where you have contributed to operational plans by reviewing policies and providing recommendations
- Ability to work independently and make firm and well-informed decisions
- A high level of communication and interpersonal skills is essential
- Strong organisational skills, flexibility and the ability to priortise tasks
- Strong administrative skills would be advantageous with a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
- For this position you are not required to be Catholic
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
