Overview

Urgent requirement of Associate Consultant - Contract - Sydney

Duration: 06 months and possible extension. Eligibility: Australian/NZ Citizens/PR Holders only.

Responsibilities
  • Must have Proven track record of systems engineering (infrastructure, network, security) or technical business analysis taking responsibility across all stages and iterations of the lifecycle, including a strong understanding of best practices and design patterns.
  • Experience working within a low-code / configuration environment (e.g., COTS systems) deploying system changes within a defined software delivery lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Familiarity with integration technologies including API and event-driven architectures.
  • Familiarity with Agile software engineering methodologies and software product implementation.
  • Experience with relational databases (SQL Server) and capital markets data products / models.
  • Nice to have experience working in Capital Markets Industry with a solid understanding of product and transaction lifecycles.
  • Problem solving, troubleshooting software issues, and triaging environment issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lateral thinker who can automate repeatable tasks to reduce work effort and ensure quality deliverables; quick learner, challenge-seeking, compassionate, empathetic, self-motivated; continuous improvement mindset; ownership mindset; understand maintainable code and comprehensive testing.
Qualifications
  • Experience in systems engineering or technical business analysis across lifecycle stages.
  • Experience in low-code / configuration environments and SDLC.
  • API and event-driven integration knowledge.
  • Agile software engineering methodologies.
  • SQL Server or relational databases experience.
  • Capital markets knowledge (preferred).
  • Strong communication skills.
