Make a Positive Impact on Your Community - Engagement Officer (Contract)

We are looking for an experienced Engagement Officer to join our client, a local council in Sydney, and play a key role in their community engagement initiatives.

The Opportunity

In this exciting role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and implementation of effective communication and community engagement strategies.

Do You Have

  • A minimum of three years' experience in community engagement or multi-disciplinary communications teams
  • Experience working in Local Government is preferred
  • Experience applying IAP2 principles and experience in facilitating engagement activities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and facilitate discussions
  • A positive and collaborative work ethic with the ability to thrive in a team environment
