Your responsibilities will include :

The senior cyber architect's primary responsibilities include :

  • Providing expert advice and guidance to stakeholders regarding current security measures and recommending enhancements.
  • Applying systems engineering lifecycle experience to Cyber Security initiatives, focusing on architectural design and development.
  • Conducting regular cyber testing to ensure ongoing security monitoring.
  • Supporting planning, estimating, status monitoring, measurement, and reporting of cyber security activities.
  • Developing and implementing solutions to complex problems.
  • Participating in customer meetings and contributing to program success.
  • Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with management, employees, customers, contractors, and suppliers.

About you :

To be successful in this role you will also have :

  • Extensive experience with the systems engineering lifecycle.
  • Experience reviewing, interpreting, and implementing Information Security Manual or NIST SP controls.
  • Ability to interpret security requirements, analyze, and recommend security measures and policies.
  • Experience in risk identification and mitigation, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Experience evaluating ICT infrastructure (hardware/software) for vulnerabilities.

Special Requirements :

Applicants must be eligible for an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Employment may require providing additional personal information, including citizenship, to comply with export control laws.

ITAR regulations apply; citizenship status may influence suitability for this role.
