Bricklayer

We are seeking experienced Bricklayers to join our talented team at Inspired Masonry in Adelaide, SA. As a skilled Bricklayer, you will play a crucial role in the construction and renovation of residential and commercial properties, contributing to the success of our growing business. This is a full-time position based in our Adelaide office.

What you'll be doing

Laying bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials to construct walls, foundations, and other structures according to architectural plans and building codes

Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and other technical specifications to ensure accurate and efficient construction

Collaborating with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and plumbers, to coordinate and complete construction projects

Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols and using appropriate personal protective equipment

Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the construction process

Providing high-quality workmanship and attention to detail to deliver exceptional results for our clients

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience as a qualified Bricklayer (Apprentices are encouraged to apply with no experience)

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address challenges that may arise during construction

Excellent hand-eye coordination, physical stamina, and attention to detail

Commitment to safety and a willingness to follow all relevant health and safety regulations

Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
