About Us

Online Education Services (OES) is an education provider partnering with universities to offer purposefully designed and engaging online programs. This position is within OES in collaboration with Swinburne Online.

Swinburne Online provides world-class online degrees tailored for students unable to attend on-campus studies.

At Swinburne Online, the student is our priority. This role offers an opportunity to support and guide students throughout their learning journey. Our Online Learning Advisers (OLAs) are subject matter experts who facilitate learning and help students achieve their goals.

What you will do

Our OLAs are responsible for:

  • Providing an exceptional student experience through the delivery of academic content developed by our partner academics and learning design team
  • Facilitating engaging learning activities to support student learning
  • Undertaking assessment tasks (including moderation, marking, and feedback) and processing results according to set timelines

OLAs are not required to establish curriculum, design learning activities, schedule teaching, set assessments, or develop marking schemes.

Who are we looking for?

We seek OLAs capable of teaching units in our Education (Early Childhood) discipline.

  • Minimum of a Master's in Education (Early Childhood) preferred
  • At least 5 years of relevant industry experience in Early Childhood Education
  • Experience in mentoring and placements is desirable
  • Motivated by student success and passionate about online learning
  • Clear and passionate communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to maintain an engaging online presence
  • Proactive and organized
  • Comfortable working remotely
