Overview

Cann I Help is Australia's leading specialist Medicinal Cannabis clinic. We operate a network of clinics and independent clinicians throughout Australia, from our administrative base in Brisbane.

Role: Medical Practitioner - Medicinal Cannabis - Remote (Telehealth or Clinic based).

We offer a supportive practice with flexible working hours and an opportunity to develop specialist skills in medicinal cannabis.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial patient assessments with the support of our specialist nursing team – face-to-face and/or telehealth consultations.
  • Prescribe medicinal cannabis products in accordance with best clinical practice and all relevant state and TGA regulations.
  • Undertake structured patient follow-up consultations and take responsibility for ongoing patient care.
  • Liaise with other healthcare practitioners as required for holistic and well-coordinated care.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate medical records at all times and uphold patient confidentiality in accordance with company policy and good clinical practice.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Current general registration with AHPRA (unrestricted).
  • Experience in the assessment and management of patients with chronic pain and/or mental health conditions is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to function well within a team of clinicians.
  • A commitment to providing an excellent standard of patient care.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
