Job Description

The daily routine of a Groundsperson at Cater Care includes:

• Upkeep of the village grounds including mowing, edging, and gardening
• Repair and basic trades work across the village
• Common Area Cleaning - emptying bins, sweeping, mopping, general cleaning
• Mine Site Cleaning - cleaning offices, crib huts, bathhouses

Requirements:

• Previous grounds and maintenance experience in a hospitality environment (12 months+)
• Experience within a remote environment is highly regarded
• Ability to work well with others
• Genuine, friendly customer service attitude
• Motivated, enthusiastic, positive 'can-do' attitude
• Ability to understand and comply with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Physically fit and able to work long hours with repetitive tasks
• Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions
• MUST hold a manual driver's license and forklift ticket
