The Role
We're currently searching for experienced Claims Consultants to join our Accident & Health and Travel Claims teams. These opportunities would suit experienced claims handlers who have worked within the insurance industry either in Accident & Health, Travel Insurance or General Insurance. We invest in our people through succession planning and have a number of mentoring and training programs available.
The positions will be offered on a permanent full-time basis and we offer a flexible hybrid approach of working in our Brisbane or Sydney CBD offices and Working From Home (WFH).
How you'll make an impactYour responsibilities will include:
- Providing a high-level customer service to all internal and external partners
- Managing a portfolio of Accident & Health or Travel insurance claims, applying policy wording and guidelines to a customer's claimed circumstances
- Processing claims from end to end to ensure resolution
- Engaging external rehabilitation assistance to assist individuals return to work
- Customer interactions by email and over the phone

- High level of attention to detail
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, spoken and written communication skills
- PC literate – Database and Microsoft Office
