Due to this growth, we have an ongoing position available for our newest Project Manager.
A little about the role:
Working within our Modular team, this role is to lead the execution of Modular Projects throughout Victoria.
- To consistently deliver high quality constructions projects, from inception to completion, and consider risk and opportunity intelligently and manage these appropriately.
- To ensure first principle thinking and understanding, focus and effort is diligently applied to the four pillars that support successful construction projects: Compliance, Quality, Time, and Profit.
- To successfully manage, and administer, a consistent level of successful construction projects that supports Rendine's growth.
- To build and lead project teams and adhere to the Rendine management systems that can support year on year growth.
The Details:
You will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- The proactive and effective management of allocated projects, and achievement of key performance indicators (KPI's) and objectives.
- Proactively, and diligently, manage Head and Sub Contracts, and documentation, elevate areas of concern to Management.
- Responsible and accountable for the creation and management of budgets, forecasting – cash flow, costs, risks and opportunity.
- Negotiate sub contract and supply agreements – Including but not limited to: obtaining and vetting quotes, drafting Scopes of Work, and managing relationships.
- Programing of projects in consultation with the Construction Manager and Site Supervisor.
- Closely liaise, and build strong relationships, with Clients, consultants, and other stakeholders Inc. attending site meetings and being primary point of contact.
- Responsible for the diligent administration of project documentation, and archiving following project completion.
- Manage and carry out approval processes such as shop drawings, creditor invoicing and the like.
- Problems solve and provide solutions to all stakeholders.
- Compliance of Jobs – Dealing with Building surveyor and providing relevant documentation.
A little about you:
- Proven ability to manage projects in the range of $2 - $10mil.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in Commercial Project Management within Australia.
- Excellent organisational skills. Ability to juggle multiple tasks while being able to manage time efficiently.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office including MS Project and other relevant software programs.
- Articulate written and verbal capabilities.
- Experience with project planning.
- Unlimited working rights in Australia.
